MANCHESTER PUNK FESTIVAL – STRIKE ANYWHERE

MANCHESTER PUNK FESTIVAL – STRIKE ANYWHERE

The latest news from Manchester Punk Festival 2017…

strikeanywhereWe are ecstatic to be able to announce that we are bringing Strike Anywhere back to the UK for the first time in over 6 years. To have a band like this involved in our event is a real privilege for us. We have grown up listening to their music and are proud to be able to welcome them on to the line up.

They are a great example of our ethos and political attitudes. We learned from their lyrics growing up. They have an energy that not many can compare to, a belief in what they are singing about and have written some of the better albums we’ve heard.

Their last effort, Iron Front, was the sound of a band confirming their legacy in the punk scene. Anthem after anthem, sharing childhood stories, tributes to loved ones and expressions of anger at the political systems we have to put up with. It was arguably their most complete record to date.

This band does not come around too often, do not miss it! Strike Anywhere will be playing on the Friday of MPF2017, heading up the bands at Sound Control.

Super early bird and early bird tickets sold out in 24 hours, general tickets are on sale now for £30 and available HERE.

Manchester Punk Festival is happening 20-22 April 2017 across a number of venues in Manchester City Centre. Make sure to follow us on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to keep up to date with MPF2017 and future announcements!

We can’t wait.
