the-cravatsThe Cravats, long time punk band originally founded in 1977, have a brand new single and video out on October 28th. Titled ‘Blurred’ with flip side ‘Bigband’, it’s the bands second single this year following the critically acclaimed ‘Jingo Bells’ which was released in March.

The single is available for pre-order now from Overground Records and is limited to just 500 copies.

Originally from Redditch, The Cravats released their first single, ‘Gordon’ in 1978. In the following year they did their first session for John Peel and Radio One and were soon snapped up by Small Wonder Records.

They released several singles including ‘Rub Me Out’ on Crass Records as well as two albums during the 1980’s.

The single ‘Jingo Bells’ from March this year featured non other than Crass’s Penny Rimbaud and was their first new music for thirty years.

You can catch them live at The Dome, Brighton on 31st October supporting Sleaford Mods.
