EXCLUSIVE: UK Rockers WASTE Share New Single ‘Run’

EXCLUSIVE: UK Rockers WASTE Share New Single ‘Run’

Release date Thursday 29th November

WasteStevenage, UK, four-piece Waste are pleased to announce that their new single ‘Run’ will be released on 29th November 2018 via all digital platforms.

On the new material, the band commented: “We feel that this is our best work to date. Although it might seem that we’ve been quiet, we’ve been in the studio working hard on lots of new noise to take on the road – it’s loud, it’s ferocious and probably slightly more commercial than some of our other fuzz fuelled tracks – this is just a taste of what is to come in 2019.”

Prior to this release the boys had already created an organic buzz online with a five track EP produced by Brit Nominated producer Tom Dalgety and a demo for the track ‘Blow’ amassing 25,000+ plays across SoundCloud & Spotify as well as earning the accolade of “It’s All Indies’ track of the week”.

Selling out Camden’s ‘The Fiddler’s Elbow’ (200 cap) at their EP launch, and being named as one of Subba Cultcha’s ‘Bands of the Weekend’ at Standon Calling Festival, it’s safe to say that this buzz has successfully transferred to their live shows; a loud, savage, dynamic and tight knit experience.

Apart from sharing the stage on the festival circuit with bands such as Idles, The Horrors, and Slaves they have also supported Childhood and Frankie & The Heartstrings, Gold Key and losers amongst others.

The band have had another successful year with a powerful performance at Standon Calling Festival – combined with other high-profile slots alongside acts such as Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Mallory Knox, The Fratellis and The Amazons. 2019 is set to be another strong year for the band.

WASTE live:

29th November – Stevenage – Red Lion

2nd February – Bishops Stortford – The Horn

17th May – Cambridge – The Junction
