LAY IT ON THE LINE release video for ‘Positive Views’

lay-it-on-the-lineSouth London’s melodic hardcore quintet Lay It On The Line (featuring members of In Evil HourPhinius Gage and Hang The Bastard) have debuted the video for ‘Positive Views’ via Hardcore Worldwide. The video is the second to come from their debut album “The Black Museum”, out now on Disconnect, Disconnect Records.

‘Positive Views’ is a proper DIY, black and white video. The track is the only cover on the band’s album – a cover of a track from seminal Calfornian hardcore exports Rotting Out’s demo – a song they never officially recorded or released. Lay It On The Line have put their own spin on the track, laced with irony.

The band formed in 2012, releasing a series of EPs for labels including Lockjaw Records and Aaahh!! Real Records. A demo with tracks played on Radio 1 before the band had even played a show and tours in the UK and Europe have seen the band go from a side project to something more serious.
