Manchester Punk Festival are very pleased to finally reveal more of the acts on offer at the 2018 festival this April.

The team are welcoming legendary pop punk heroes The Copyrights to MPF, and the country, for the first time. After a few failed attempts in the past the band have finally been secured for 2018. Returning, after performing at the first festival, are The Restarts – easily one of the best UK punk bands around.

Also being added to the bill this year are the Scottish incredible queer punkers The Spook School who have a new album out in the new year. They’ll be joined by a relatively new band The Baby Seals, who released an EP in 2017 full of unforgettable pop hits and brilliant lyrics touching on feminism and body positivity.

It wouldn’t be MPF without having some of Manchester’s favourite local acts. MPF veterans Revenge Of The Psychotronic Man will be bringing their unique mash up of fast punk rock and on-stage antics. Holiday will also be playing – a band that sing happy songs about unhappy things like sitting outside on the steps at a gig and talking to people about the Blah Party. Lancashire based Hoof have also been added.

As well as the local faves, there are bands from further a field too. Flying the melodic hardcore/skate punk flag are the hard working Start At Zero from Slovenia along with Irish pop punkers No Matter.

One extra impressive band that MPF have managed to snag for the 2018 event is the Belgian Speedozer who play fast and loud and are not to be missed.

One of the most promising acts in the UK, Ducking Punches are going to be joining the line up fresh off the back of the launch of their third album.  Ipswich punks Casual Nausea will be heading up to Manchester for their 2nd MPF appearance too.

Myspace era favourites Tellison will also be rocking up a storm and Kamikaze girls Lucinda Livingstone and the wonderful Millie Manders will be hitting the already stacked acoustic stage.

Make sure you head to the MPF webstore to pick up a ticket!
