MANCHESTER PUNK FESTIVAL 2019: Second Bands Announced Including SUBHUMANS

MPF2019Manchester Punk Festival have announced the second haul of bands set to play the festival in 2019. The three day event will take place over the Easter bank holiday weekend next year, bringing over 130 bands to eight city centre venues.

The latest announcement sees UK punk legends Subhumans joined by The Creepshow, from Canada, Smoke Or Fire, from the US and Philly-based Restorations also making their long awaited return to Manchester. Brighton’s The Bar Stool Preachers are added to the bill as well as old Manchester ska legends Harijan. All these bands join the likes of Dead To Me, King Prawn, Doom and many, many more.

The festival is fast becoming recognised as one of the most acclaimed and sought after DIY punk festivals on the planet and this year sees the festival extended to 3 days with an increased capacity. Previously, punks from around the globe have descended on Manchester for the festival which also features a comedy & poetry stage, punk cinema, record store and vegan street food stall.
