The band will bring their 20 piece choir for their acclaimed mix of dark, epic post punk with the exhilarating highs of the choir which has been a big hit at festivals across the UK and Europe. Joining them on the bill for the mini fest will be former frontman with the legendary crass, Steve Ignorant as well as John Peel faves The Cravats and The Wolfhounds in a celebration of the creative DIY spirit of bands from the post punk era who operate by their own rules and have started to find a big audience.

The Membranes new album is a double album about the beauty and violence of nature…a very diverse work with dark, brooding choir-driven songs that have been described as sounding like Hieronymus Bosch paintings to discordant wild songs about crows, demon flowers, strange perfumes, voluptuous petals, voluminous oceans, treacherous seasons and the poetry of life and death set  to spooked pulsing musical pieces from epic choir driven post punk songs to dark dub workouts to throbbing dirty disco dark wave pulses to grinding heavy bass driven pieces to apocalyptic visions to choir driven epic swirls.
