MIDWICH CUCKOOS Reveal Explosive High-Octane Video for ‘Russian Doll’

Midwich CuckoosInternational punk collective Midwich Cuckoos are pleased to reveal an explosive high-octane new video for their new single ‘Russian Doll’.

The track is the latest to be taken from their debut album We Are Everywhere will be released 23rd February 2018 via Onslaught Music (PUNK ONLINE Review here).

The band are also pleased to announce two select UK live dates in March (see below for details) supporting Sumo Cyco and Maid of Ace.

Commenting on putting the surprisingly-high-budget visuals together as a DIY collective, front man and project mastermind Patch Barbet said: “After a few beers with my good friend John Stow (Intraspectrum Studios), he told me that it was a shame my old band, Monsters in the Attic, broke up, as he had some good music video ideas for one of the songs. I told him I was just writing a new album & I’d always wanted to make a video, so I sent him some tracks and he showed me what he’d already done. Next thing we were both agreeing how good race cars and fire would look.

“I went to Arena Essex Race track a load of times when I was a kid to watch cars smash each other to pieces.  I spoke to the guys that work there and after a few conversations we’d bought our own banger that we could do what we wanted with. We begged, borrowed and stole everything we needed, pulling loads of favours from mates – Jon got his crew together and on the Easter weekend (easily the worst weather of the year) we filmed ‘Russian Doll’.”

‘We Are Everywhere’ is released 23rd February via Onslaught Music.
