Punk Legends UK SUBS to Release Covers Album ‘Subversions’ on June 22nd

UK SubsRevered British street-punk band U.K. Subs have partnered up with Cleopatra Records to release their first ever covers album, SubVersions, on June 22nd. Today, fans can get a first listen to the new record by streaming the band’s take on MC5’s classic song “Kick Out The Jams.”

U.K. Subs’ first covers album in their celebrated 42 year-long career will include supercharged punk rawk versions of songs that inspired the band throughout their career, from MC5’s classic “Kick Out The Jams” and Bowie’s glam hit “Suffragette City” to modern stoner rock heroes QOTSA’s “Feel Good Hit Of The Summer” and more!

U.K. Subs is led by founding member and vocalist Charlie Harper along with longtime members Alvin Gibbs on bass and Jamie Oliver on drums with newcomer Steve Straughan on guitar!
