RIGHT ON, KID! – Forever Missing Out

Right On, KidAlbuquerque punks Right, On Kid is set for the release of their new EP Forever Missing Out via Manic Kat Records.

Known for their blend of energetic hooks and up-tempo delivery Right, On Kid start us off with a brief melodic vocal that explodes into view as Forever Missing Out blends skate-punk and pop-punk into a powerful package. The approach is perfect for this summers Warped Tour and they will be gracing the stage throughout the tour.

On Clarity the band deliver a four-minute plus slab of post-hardcore skate punk with those melodic vocals, intricate math-punk beats all underpinning monster hooks and mournful melody. The third of five-tracks is the 81 second Bier Castle and the slow start bursts into a fast-paced rocker before slowing down again and then racing to the finish line with a soaring vocal and guitar.

The penultimate track, Consistent is a true skate punk/post hardcore effort with changes in temp and approach from restrained bass and drums through to monster riffs and licks. The EP closes with Loci and this one follows neatly from the prior track with meatier guitar sounds and some pacey drums leading to pummeling finish.
