STADT SKULLS to Release Debut EP ‘Cult of the Reptile God’

Stadt SkullsOn 17th August 2018 Stadt Skulls will release their first EP ‘Against the Cult of the Reptile God’ on Plesiosaur records. The band’s debut single ‘Hot Dogs Kills Cars’ received much praise from radio stations and reviews alike.

‘’Fraternal trio with one ear to the melodic ace-ness of Tenement, Chinese Telephones and pop-punk veterans the Decendents, and a certain proclivity towards Fugazi-style post-hardcore.’’ – Hyper Enough.

‘’The three piece sounded great and played pop punk in the style of Boyracer and Number One Cup, the bloke next to me reckoned they sounded like Greenday but I thought they were much better than that.’’ – Trust the Wizards.

Stadt Skulls are a three piece, three sibling punk band from Liverpool. Mark Donovan (guitar, vocals), James Donovan (bass, vocals) and Andy Donovan (drums) have spent the last decade and a half making noises with bands such as Elle S’appelle, River Caves, 28 Costumes, wave machines, Laura J Martin and Queen Zee before coming together for the first time in  late 2016. Against the Cult of the Reptile God was produced by Paul Rafferty (Maxïmo Park, Hot Club de Paris, Bad Meds).
