THE DUNTS Release and Share New Single ‘Witch Hunt’

The DuntsGlasgow four piece THE DUNTS release a new single ‘Witch Hunt’ on 17thAugust and have been confirmed to play the BBC Introducing Stage at the legendary Reading and Leeds Festivals. The track is the second to be taken from the EP ‘Self Proclaimed Council Punk’ coming out later this summer, and the follow up to ‘Birds and the Beez’ which was Radio 1’s Huw Stephens ‘Top Pick Of The Week’.   They have also announced some headline shows in Scotland in October.

The band, who are made up by Rab, Kyle, David, and Colin are an electrifying punk-rock band based in Glasgow who were born from school friendship and a lively fertile local scene. They released their debut EP ‘Not Working Is Class’ in 2017, which received support from Huw Stephens (BBC Radio 1) and Vic Galloway (BBC Radio Scotland) and they were chosen as the BBC Introducing Pick of the Week twice with ‘Dimitri’ and their latest single while also earning further radio support from John Kennedy (Radio X).

The quartet can effortlessly infuse punk bands from the London era like the Sex Pistols and The Clash, throw in the dynamic sounds of garage/indie bands such as The Strokes and Arctic Monkeys and you probably don’t have their complete sound, however, they are as explosive as all those band’s live which has led them to sell out venues in their home town such as the famous King Tuts and Stereo. They have also toured around the U.K and brought their chaos to some festivals further cementing their name as an electrifying live band.
